Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occuring polymer found in our skin.
The dermis has a high percentage of HA which hydrates the skin because of its high water-binding properties. HA provides and maintains proper tissue volume and acts as a cushion to help protect the skin. The natural product, if injected into the skin would be rapidly lost.
To produce longer lasting HA it must be made more robust and stable by cross-linking.
It minimizes uncross-linked BDDE and guarantees the following 3 values:
The origin of HA, microbial fermentation and animal free, ensures its safety. HA material with molecular weight, approved by US FDA, is reliable and trustworthy.
HA which is crosslinked is the best,as crosslinking process ensures long-lasting effect.
Patients are satisfied with the natural results right after the treatment.
A full medical history will be taken prior to your procedure and you will have an opportunity to discuss the treatment in full with your Cosmetic physician Injector. You will need to complete a consent form before treatment.
HA is injected into the skin via a tiny needle. The injection is made more comfortable by the addition of local anaesthetic to the product during manufacture. Makeup is removed prior to the treatment. Your Cosmetic physician Injector will monitor the skin response during the injection to determine the correct filler volume.
The treatment with HA filler will aim to produce a filing effect to smooth lines and wrinkles and add volume where required for rejuvenation.
Do not reapply make up for 2 hours.
Keep the area cool to reduce any puffiness.
If you think you have suffered from an adverse reaction to treatment, contact your physician immediately.
Do not have treatment if you are pregnant or breast-feeding and seek medical advice before treatment if you have a rheumatological condition or allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Cost is dependent on quantity and type of HA filler used, which varies for different areas. Price is based on a 1 ml syringe basis. Total cost will be advised and agreed on the consent form prior to treatment being carried out.
